Chandler Riggs imagines Carl in a post-Rick The Walking Dead

December 11, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Former The Walking Dead actor Chandler Riggs has imagined what Carl would be like in a post-Rick world.

Carl met his demise in recent The Walking Dead history but before the character’s father Rick Grimes left the show. The show has now jumped forward in time by six years, making for a very different world.

But what would Carl have been like if he had survived and was forced to live in a world without his dad? Well, according to Chandler Riggs (who played the character), he would take on the responsibility needed. Speaking to ComicBook.com, he said:

“It’s kind of hard to know what Carl would be like after a six-year time jump. I think he definitely would take on this, if Rick wasn’t in the picture anymore, I think Carl would definitely take on this, I guess, just the older brother role, and really take care of [his siblings], and do what he’s been doing — or do what he was doing — for the years that he spent with Judith. I honestly don’t really know what he’d be like, but it would have been really interesting to see.”

Should Carl have survived to see life once Rick was no longer around? Let us know in the comments below.
