Channing Tatum has had a good few years and this shows little signs of slowing down; he’s got 22 Jump Street, Jupiter Ascending, The Book of Life and Foxchatcher all set for release this year, and now he’s started work on the script for Magic Mike 2, posting an image of himself gazing at a bust of Matthew McConaughey on Instagram with the caption: “What better way to start writing #MagicMike2 than with my old friend Dallas? #runatribe.”
Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Magic Mike was a semi-autobiographical look at the life of a male stripper and the sequel is set to continue this, although working more as a road movie.
