Chernobyl themed update arrives for Warface on Xbox One and PS4

January 30, 2019 by Andrew Newton

My.Com has announced the launch of the Pripyat update for Warface on Xbox One and Playstation 4.  This brand new update will provide new raid missions through abandoned Pripyat, as well as new enemies, rewards, achievements, game mechanics and a new weapon series.  See the new trailer below for more details on this update…

In this new special operation, Operatives will visit the ghost town of Pripyat, once a thriving city in 80’s USSR until the nearby Chernobyl reactor went into meltdown creating a huge exclusion zone.  In the Warface universe this infamous radiated ghost town is the centre for a strange increase in seismic activity.  It will be up to players to explore the region and investigate whether the instability is the cause of the evil Blackwood organisation that have been seen around the city.  Throughout their investigation players will come across new enemies and gain access to a new weapon series called “Nuclear”.

New game mechanics are introduced in Pripyat such as energy shields that will be used by individual enemies and defensive installations and the sinister human-like androids called SEDs created by Blackwood’s robotics team.

Special Operation Pripyat is available for Warface players on Xbox One and PS4 now.
