Chris Pratt is thrilled by Disney’s decision to rehire James Gunn for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

April 25, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Chris Pratt says that he is thrilled and stands behind Disney’s decision to rehire James Gunn for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

There’s no question that James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is a highly anticipated event for Marvel fans, with excitement amped up even further due to Gunn’s dismissal and rehiring by Disney.

One person who has expressed his own excitement is Chris Pratt, who, at the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, told People that he stands behind Disney’s decision to bring James Gunn back:

“I was so thrilled, so excited. I think it’s the right move, I really stand behind it. I’m really proud of Disney for hiring James back and ultimately thrilled for not only us, but also for the fans. I think it’s going to wrap up the trilogy in the best way.

“And Guardians of the Galaxy are really all about second chances and giving people an opportunity to be their best. We’re a ragtag squad of people coming together and having each other’s back. I think it really worked out the way it was supposed to, and I feel good about it.”
