Clint Eastwood’s The 15:17 to Paris gets release date

October 25, 2017 by Samuel Brace

The 15:17 to Paris, an upcoming film directed by Clint Eastwood, has received a February 2018 release date.

The movie focuses on the heroes who helped to foil a 2015 terrorist attack on a train at high speed in Paris, and has now been given a release date of February 9, 2018 by Warner Bros.

It is unclear at this juncture if the movie will receive an Academy Awards qualifying release before the end of this year, but it wouldn’t be a surprise considering the man behind the camera.

Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing and distribution, said, “Clint Eastwood is one of our most prolific and enduring filmmakers and we are thrilled to continue our longtime collaboration with him as we bring his next film to the screen. This is both a touching story of three lifelong friends and a compelling tale of patriotism and heroism, and we felt this would be a great window for audiences everywhere to experience this uplifting true story.”
