Colton Haynes’ Roy Harper returning to Arrow

November 20, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Colton Haynes has taken to Twitter to announce his return as Roy Harper in the fourth season of Arrow, revealing that he’s arrived in Vancouver and is ready to begin filming.

“We are beyond thrilled that Colton will be returning to ‘Arrow’ this season,” states executive producer Marc Guggenheim. “It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right story line to pull it off. That opportunity presented itself in episode 412 and we can’t wait for the fans to see this reunion.”

The last we saw of Roy Harper in Arrow was the season three finale, where he’d faked his own death and left Starling City in order to protect Oliver’s secret identity as the Arrow.
