Coming 2 America gets a batch of character posters and Super Bowl TV spot

Ahead of its release next month, Amazon has shared four new character posters for the upcoming comedy sequel Coming 2 America featuring King Akeem (Eddie Murphy), Semmi (Arsenio Hall), Queen Lisa (Shari Headley), and King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones); you can check them out below, along with Sunday’s Super Bowl TV spot…

Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi (Arsenio Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York – where it all began.

Coming 2 America is set for release on March 5th 2021 and sees the return of Eddie Murphy (Akeem), Arsenio Hall (Semmi), James Earl Jones (King Jaffe Joffer), Shari Headley (Queen Lisa), John Amos (Cleo McDowell), Louie Anderson (Maurice) and the barbershop crew, along with new cast additions Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Bella Murphy, Rotimi, KiKi Layne, Nomzamo Mbatha and Teyana Taylor.
