Courteney Cox rules out a Friends reunion

April 23, 2014 by Gary Collinson

If you were still holding out any hope of seeing more of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey and Chandler back on the screen, then I’m afraid it looks as though you’re out of luck. During an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, Courteney Cox was asked about the chances of a Friends reunion some ten years after the end of the hit sitcom, with Cox seemingly ruling out the possibility:

“It’s not gonna happen… Let me tell you something: there’s six friends and I’ve been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years. It doesn’t happen. I can get [Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow] to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, David Schwimmer lives here [in New York City] so it’s just not gonna happen.”

So, it looks like we can finally put those rumours of a Friends reunion to rest.
