Crafting survival game Polylithic arrives on Steam Early Access

November 10, 2023 by Andrew Newton

Czech developer Polyperfect have today released their new third-person crafting survival game, Polylithic, on Steam Early Access.  Set in the Paleolithic/Neolithic era, Polylithic features surviving in a land filled with mammoths and other ancient creatures while encountering a dash of sci-fi.  Watch the new early access trailer below…

In Polylithic players become the leader of a tribe of humans and help them develop and grow into a community that is able to make a settlement. As the leader of this prospering nomadic community, players will need to gather resources that provide the basic means of survival, craft items that the tribe will need to hunt and do a variety of other tasks and unlocking new technology.

Growing the population of the tribe is vital for creating a strong community and these tribe members need to be kept content by providing food, distributing tasks and helping them grow to become tribal elders.

The world of Polylithic is one that hides more than just resources, there are remnants of past tribes to discover and these can be used as inspiration to build monuments that recognise and unite the tribe.

From hunter-gatherer nomadic tribe to settled farming community, Polylithic follows players through two different eras in a colourful, low-poly art style backed up by an atmospheric soundtrack.

Polylithic is available now on Steam Early Access.
