Creepy dungeon crawler Horripilant launches demo and teaser trailer

May 30, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Pas Game Studio has released their demo for their upcoming creepy Vermis inspired incremental dungeon crawler Horripilant. This demo allows players to enjoy the introduction to the game’s main incremental gameplay and will provide uninterrupted play until the player reaches level 10.  A new trailer can be seen below….

Those who purchase the game after playing through the demo will have their progress saved allowing them to continue from level 10.

Horripilant is a combination of elements from idler, puzzle and autobattler all wrapped up in a horror dungeon crawling package. Players start off as an old, battered knight who is lost within the depths of a dark, forsaken dungeon with no memories of how he got there. Voices seem to beckon to the old knight from the walls telling him to venture down an empty staircase, and so the knight’s adventure begins.

As players venture deeper into the dungeon, they will encounter strange, bizarre creatures and terrifying horrors lurking in the dark, which they will take on in combat.  There are also cryptic puzzles that will need solving for players to make progress through the dungeon.  Players will also need to mine, gather resources and unravel the mysteries of this abyss in order to escape.

Horripilant features:

  • Earn and collect materials.
  • Encounter horrific foes and kill them.
  • Solve puzzles and explore the darkness.
  • Upgrade equipment to be able to venture deeper.
  • Meet the god and gain strong boons.
  • Repeat, adapt and survive the depths.

The demo for Horripilant is available on Steam for PC now.
