Daisy Ridley to star in Doug Liman’s Chaos Walking

August 7, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley has added another project to her upcoming slate, with the British actress set to star in Chaos Walking, director Doug Liman’s (Edge of Tomorrow) upcoming adaptation of Patrick Ness’ YA series.

Chaos Walking takes place in a world where there are no women and all living creatures can hear one another’s thoughts in a stream of images, words and sounds called Noise.” The story follows “the only boy in a town of men, who makes a startling discovery that forces him to flee with only his dog in hand. With the townspeople in pursuit, the duo stumbles upon a strange and silent girl. They set off on a white-knuckle journey in which the boy must unlearn everything he knows in order to figure out who he truly is.”

Ridley, who has recently wrapped production on Star Wars: Episode VIII, has recently signed on to reunite with J.J. Abrams on the fantasy thriller Kolma, and will also star in drama The Lost Wife.
