David Mazouz talks Gotham season 2, says Bruce Wayne “is going to start his dual personality into becoming Batman”

June 30, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Last week we got a synopsis which suggests that we’ll start to explore the origins of the iconic Batman villains The Joker and Mr. Freeze in the upcoming second season of Gotham, and now actor David Mazouz has revealed that we’ll also see the young Bruce Wayne start to develop his dual identity which will eventually lead to him donning the cape and cowl as Batman.

“He’s on a mission and he really is gonna start his dual personality into becoming Batman,” Mazouz tells Monkeys Fighting Robots. “When he’s Batman there is his Batman side and then his public persona which is a more playboy/party boy persona and in season two he’s really going to start developing that second persona. He’s going to start having that, and developing that with Alfred, and I think it’s going to be really cool.”

Gotham returns to Fox on September 21st. Follow all of our coverage here.
