DC makes over 250 Scooby-Doo comic books available for free!

May 16, 2020 by Gary Collinson

To coincide with the VOD release of the new animated feature Scoob!, DC Entertainment has announced that it has made over 250 Scooby-Doo single issue and trade paperback comics available for fans to read this summer absolutely free! Here’s a sample of what’s available right now…

The following Scooby-Doo titles available for free on DC Universe and participating digital retailers including Comixology, Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and more…
  • SCOOBY-DOO (1997-2010) Issues 33-84
    • Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, Daphne, and Velma are back, ready to solve strange cases, unmask dastardly villains, and, in Shaggy and Scooby’s case, find as many reasons as possible to chow down on some food and get a taste of some Scooby Snacks!
  • SCOOBY-DOO TEAM-UP (2013-) Issues 1-99 & Vol. 1-6
    • Scooby and the gang face new adventures when they work together and with new DC friends along the way. The team-up for justice is always exciting.
  • SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU? (2010-) Issues 40-103
    • A monster in the mirror? A ghoul in a school? Scooby and his friends will solve the mystery and catch the creepy crooks-who would have gotten away with it, if not for those meddling kids.

The comic books are available free through to September 7th, while the new Scoob! movie is out now for digital download or rental.

“SCOOB!” reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.

SCOOB! features a voice cast that includes Zac Efron (Fred), Amanda Seyfried (Daphne), Gina Rodriguez (Velma), Will Forte (Shaggy) and Frank Welker (Scooby-Doo) lead the voice cast alongside Tracy Morgan (Captain Caveman), Kiersey Clemons (Dee Dee Skyes), Mark Wahlberg (Blue Falcon), Jason Isaacs (Dick Dastardly), Ken Jeong (Dynomutt), Iain Armitage (Young Shaggy), Mckenna Grace (Young Daphne), Pierce Gagnon (Young Fred) and Ariana Greenblatt (Young Velma).
