DC Universe Online coming to Nintendo Switch this summer

May 24, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Daybreak Games has announced that their massive multiplayer online game, DC Universe Online will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this summer. DC Universe Online will provide an exhilarating adventure where players can meet more than 300 of DC’s best loved characters in TV mode or on the go.  Watch the new announcement trailer below.

In DC Universe Online, Lex Luthor has received news from the future that Brainiac has been feeding on the powers of the super heroes and villains as they fight amongst themselves and building up his strength to destroy the Earth.  To change the future, Lex uses a device to give superpowers to thousands of everyday citizens in a bid to stop Brainiac.

In this massive multiplayer game players will be able to enter the DC Universe as an active force for good or evil, fighting alongside fan favourite DC characters, including Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman and The Joker.  This story driven adventure will take players through iconic DC locations such as Gotham City, Metropolis, Atlantis, Titans Island, Themyscira and many more.

“Bringing such a massive online game to Nintendo Switch has been a dream come true,” said SJ Mueller, Creative Director of DC Universe Online.

DC Universe Online will deliver high-energy, physics-powered combat to players on the Switch this summer.
