DC reveals Batman/Deadpool #1 cover gallery and back-up story details

Comic book titans Marvel and DC are set to collaborate for the first time in more than two decades this year with a double bill of one-shot specials from each publisher headlined by the Dark Knight and the Merc with the Mouth, and with Marvel unveiling details and covers for September’s Deadpool/Batman #1 earlier this month, it’s now DC’s turn to showcase its own offering, Batman/Deadpool #1.

Releasing in November, the 64-page one-shot leads with a main story featuring the two iconic superheroes from writer Grant Morrison and artist Dan Mora, while the newly-announced back-up stories include Constantine/Doctor Strange from Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV and Joshua Williamson and artist Hayden Sherman, Nightwing/Wolverine from writer Tom Taylor and artist Bruno Redondo, Harley Quinn/Hulk from Mariko Tamaki and Amanda Conner, and Static/Ms. Marvel from G. Willow Wilson and Denys Cowan.

  • Bill Sienkiewicz – Batman/Deadpool — a The Incredible Hulk #340 homage
  • Ryan Sook – Batman/Deadpool — a Crisis on Infinite Earths #7 homage
  • Sozomaika – Catwoman/Emma Frost

Batman/Deadpool #1 is set for release in November 2025.
