Deadly Class casts the villainous Chester ‘F*ckface’ Wilson

August 30, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that SyFy’s upcoming adaptation of the Rick Remender and Wes Craig comic book series Deadly Class has cast a new villain, with Tom Stevens (Wayward Pines) set for the recurring role of Chester ‘Fuckface’ Wilson.

The primary antagonist of the comic’s second story arc, Wilson is described by Deadline as “a resident of the same boys’ home Marcus lived in before taking to the streets of San Francisco. An incident at the boys’ home leaves Chester thirsty for revenge against Marcus, his new archenemy. Built like a linebacker with a distinct face, he is vile and volatile, and ready to take down anyone in his path to vengeance.”

The series follows Marcus, a homeless teen who is recruited into an elite private school for the next generation of the world’s top crime families. The series is being executive produced by Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo for Sony Pictures TV and Universal Cable Productions.

Set in a dark, comic book world against the backdrop of late 80s counter culture, DEADLY CLASS follows a homeless teen recruited into a storied elite private school where the world’s top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques and his own adolescent uncertainties soon proves to be vital. Based on the best-selling 2014 Image Comics graphic novel, DEADLY CLASS is a coming of age journey full of ancient mystery and teen angst.

From Sony Pictures Television and Universal Cable Productions, DEADLY CLASS was adapted for television by Rick Remender and Miles Orion Feldsott, who will serve as executive producers alongside Joe Russo (“Avengers: Infinity War,” “Captain America: Civil War”), Anthony Russo (“Avengers: Infinity War,” “Captain America: Civil War”) and Mike Larocca (“Spy”). Adam Targum (“Banshee”) from Chipmunk Hill also served as executive producer on the pilot, along with Lee Toland Krieger (“The Age of Adaline”), who also directed.

Deadly Class is set to premiere in 2019 and features a cast that includes Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James, Michel Duval, Henry Rollins, Taylor Hickson, Siobhan Williams, Jack Gillett, Sean Depner and Ryan Robbins.
