Disney+ delivers new trailer for The Santa Clauses

October 28, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

With just three weeks to go until The Santa Clauses dashes onto Disney+, the streamer has released a new poster and trailer for the upcoming festive comedy series which follows on from the beloved Santa Clause trilogy.

The series sees the now retired Scott (Tim Allen) try to enjoy the holidays with his family but instead finds himself in a race to save Christmas and head back to the North Pole after the new Santa destroys Christmas spirit.

“The series will pick up with Scott Calvin on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.”

Along with Tim Allen, The Santa Clauses also sees the return of Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol/Mrs. Claus and David Krumholtz as Bernard the Elf, alongside franchise newcomers Austin Kane, Elizabeth Allen Dick, Kal Penn, Rupali Redd, Devin Bright, and Matilda Lawler.

The Santa Clauses arrives on Disney+ on November 16th.
