Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition arrives on Nintendo Switch

September 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Larian Studios has announced that their critically acclaimed RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop.  Players can now enjoy this near limitless RPG on the go and thanks to cross-saves between Nintendo Switch systems and Steam on PC can now take their save files with them.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition puts players in a world that reacts not only to what they do but also to who they are, whether human, Lizard, Dwarf, Elf or Undead – the world will react differently around them.  Adventurers will be able to choose their race and origin from 6 unique characters, each of which comes with their own backgrounds and quests, or create their own hero from one of the available races.

Players will be able to explore the entire game world, journey anywhere and talk to anyone.  It’s also possible to kill any NPC without any impact on progress, however there will be consequences for any actions performed and choices made.

There’s over 100 hours of narrative, more than 200 skills spread across 12 skill schools for players to master, and four player online co-op play for those who want to tackle the game’s AI 2.0 with friends.

Also available is the second Gift Bag: free DLC bringing even more content to new and existing players.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition is available on the Nintendo eShop now.
