DLC roadmap revealed for Dead In Vinland

September 6, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Playdius and developer CCCP have revealed the upcoming DLCs set to arrive for their survival management game Dead In Vinland.  There are three updates set to arrive, bringing more challenges to Eirik and his exiled family of Vikings with the first arriving on 19th September.

The first DLC Update, set for release later this month, will be titled “The Vallhund” and will feature a new game mode and a new scenario that sees a norse dog (the aforementioned Vallhund) become a vital part of your camp.  Another two DLCs will be released in Winter 2018 and Spring 2019.

Set to release alongside this first DLC will be the new 1.2 patch and will include special effects for camp stations and random traits for enemies.

If you’ve not heard of Dead In Vinland before it is a survival management game with aspects of the RPG genre.  Players will need to take control of our protagonist Eirik as he finds himself and his family exiled from their home to the island of Vinland.  Eirik will need to survive one hazard after another, explore the island and organise his camp to ensure everyone thrives.  Many secrets await discovery on the island, some will bring good fortune while others may endanger your life.

DEAD IN VINLAND is a survival/management game, mixed with RPG and adventure elements, about a Viking family trying their best to survive on a mysterious island.
