Double Dragon Revive gets new trailer, launch date and pre-order details

December 14, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Arc System Works has announced that Double Dragon Revive will launch on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Playstation 5, PS4 and Steam on 23rd October 2025, and that digital pre-orders are available now. Watch the new trailer below celebrating this announcement.

Double Dragon Revive takes place 15 years after the end of a devastating nuclear war.  Those who survived the war gathered together and formed colonies, eking out an existence amidst the ruins of the old world.  Over time, these colonies became dominated by shadowy organisations and vicious gangs, causing the gap to widen between the wealthy and poor.

It is in one of these colonies that players will find Billy and Jimmy Lee, masters of the Sosetsuken, and their childhood friend Marian. This trio of friends live in a colony by the sea and life was tolerable before the evil Shadow Warriors Gang took over, since then crime has increased and people mysteriously vanish.  But when the brother’s dojo is threatened by the colony’s sinister ruler they decide to take action and fight back.

It’s up to players to take control of the brothers and fight through the mean streets, kick their way through gangs of enemies, bosses from previous games as well as new ones, and sort out this violent gang once and for all.

Double Dragon Revive is available to pre-order now, those who do will also receive the exclusive bonus game Double Dragon Dodge Ball.
