Downton Abbey gets spoofed with Fackham Hall trailer

Bleecker Street & Legion M have revealed a poster and trailer for Fackham Hall, a spoof of British period dramas such as Downton Abbey.

Directed by Jim O’Hanlon, the comedy sees a loveable pickpocket charming his way through the ranks of a wealthy British family after landing a job at their manor house, until his luck runs out when he is framed for a murder.

The cast includes Ben Radcliffe, Thomasin McKenzie, Damian Lewis, Jimmy Carr, Nathan McMullen, Tom Felton, Katherine Waterston, Emma Laird, Tom Goodman-Hill, Ramon Tikaram, Tim McMullan, Anna Maxwell Martin, and Sue Johnston. Check out the trailer below…

Fackham Hall is a spoof comedy following loveable pick-pocket Eric Noone (Ben Radcliffe) as he lands a job at an English manor house. He quickly rises through the ranks and a forbidden romance with blossoms with lady-of-the-house Rose Davenport (Thomasin McKenzie). But when an unexpected murder occurs, Eric gets framed — leaving Rose and her family’s future perilously uncertain.

Fackham Hall arrives in cinemas on December 5th.
