Elijah Wood and Nell Fisher embark on an adventure in Bookworm trailer

June 6, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Rialto has released a poster and trailer for director Ant Timpson’s family adventure comedy Bookworm.

Nell Fisher (Evil Dead Rise) stars as Mildred, an 11-year-old who sets off on an adventure in the New Zealand wilderness with her estranged, washed-up illusionist father (Elijah Wood) in search of a mythical black panther. Watch the trailer below…

11 year old Mildred’s world is turned upside-down when her estranged father, the washed-up magician Strawn Wise comes to look after her and agrees to take her camping to find a mythological beast known as the Canterbury Panther.

Joining Nell Fisher and Elijah Wood in the cast are Morgana O’Reilly and Michael Smiley.

Bookworm is coming soon to cinemas.
