‘Enter the Animus’ with first clip from Assassin’s Creed

20th Century Fox has debuted the first clip from Justin Kurzel’s upcoming video game adaptation Assassin’s Creed entitled ‘Enter the Animus’ which you can watch below after the official synopsis….

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Assassin’s Creed is set for release on December 21st in the States and on January 1st in the UK. The film reunites Fassbender with Macbeth director Justin Kurzel and co-star Marion Cotillard, while the cast also includes Michael K. Williams (Ghostbusters), Jeremy Irons (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Brendan Gleeson (Calvary) and Ariane Labed (The Lobster).
