Ernie Hudson changes his mind on all-female Ghostbusters, calls them “Phenomenal!”

January 30, 2015 by admin

The other day, original Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson posted his rather negative thoughts on Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters remake saying, “two words: no comment”. Well, it looks like he may have changed his mind.

Hudson told The Hollywood Reporter, “four fiercely funny, foxy, females busting ghosts … phenomenal!”

In previous interviews, Hudson has said that an all-female line-up would be a “bad idea” and something fans would not want. THR also asked Hudson’s publicist to find out why he has changed his mind, but got no comment.

Hudson’s original Ghostbusters co-star Dan Aykroyd (who also wrote the first two movies) praised the cast announcement saying, “the Aykroyd family is delighted by this inheritance of the Ghostbusters torch by these most magnificent women in comedy.”
