Eternia welcomes Fortnite players with Masters of the Universe: He-Man Heroes

August 29, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Players can join He-Man, Teela, and friends on epic adventures across Eternia in Fortnite with the early access launch of Masters of the Universe: He-Man Heroes. Players can see Mattel’s classic hero come to life for the first time in a new official island in Fortnite. A new trailer below shows how this new collectible RPG will captivate fans…

Masters of the Universe: He-Man Heroes is Mattel’s first entry into the Fortnite creator platform and invites players to fight through increasingly difficult zones to defeat hordes of enemies and collect Shards of Eternia. Players will start their epic journey by choosing a single hero; from there, players will need to collect valuable Shards of Eternia that can be used to summon new heroes. Players can build up teams of four iconic characters from four different hero classes and use their abilities to defeat opponents, boost their hero power, and take on greater challenges.

Ron Friedman, Vice President of Mattel Future Lab, said: “He-Man has always stood for power, heroism, and imaginative adventure. Masters of the Universe: He-Man Heroes brings Eternia to Fortnite in a fresh way that is easy to jump into, but has plenty of strategy for those who want to dig deeper, creating an experience that’s fun, fast, and unmistakably He-Man. This launch expands Mattel’s presence to one of today’s most dynamic and influential gaming platforms, using interactive storytelling to build community and enjoy Masters of the Universe as never before.”
