January 16, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

With just a month to go until its release, Vertical has revealed a trailer for director Emma Westenberg’s upcoming drama Bleeding Love.

The film stars Ewan McGregor and his daughter Clara McGregor as an estranged father and daughter who embark on a road trip together, which forces them to confront the issues of their strained relationship; watch the trailer below…

Bleeding Love is a gritty, emotional tale about healing familial wounds through re-connection. After a drastic incident in her life, a young woman (Clara) embarks on an impromptu road trip with her estranged father (Ewan). En-route to their destination of Santa Fe, New Mexico, the two are forced to confront the issues of their past that have led to their frail relationship, while encountering an eccentric array of characters along the way, in order to bring them closer together again.

Joining Ewan and Clara McGregor in the cast are Kim Zimmer, Devyn McDowell, Sasha Alexander, Jake Weary and Vera Bulder.

Bleeding Love arrives in select cinemas and On Demand on February 16th.
