Fantasy MMORPG Black Desert now available on Xbox One

March 5, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Pearl Abyss has announced that their open world fantasy action MMORPG Black Desert is now available on Xbox One via the Microsoft Store.  As well as the base game there are three different launch editions, Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions each of which offers a variety of additional in-game items.  A new live action trailer has been released to celebrate the launch and can be seen below….

Black Desert offers players the opportunity to explore a rich open world, a world where they can dive straight into a number of different lifeskills or take part in epic battles and gain fortune and glory.  Players can create their avatar in unprecedented detail and enrich them throughout the game with cosmetic items.

“Launching Black Desert on Xbox One has been a long development journey and we’re so thankful for the support of the Xbox community along the way”, said Robin Jung, Chief Executive Officer at Pearl Abyss. “Through the community’s feedback and continued interest in Black Desert over the course of the past two years and multiple betas, we’re happy to be able to launch the game today and look forward to adding additional content in the near future.”

Pearl Abyss will be rewarding those players who participated in the betas with an exclusive title and those who reached level 30 in the final beta to receive a Calpheon Chubby Dog pet.

The Xbox One version of Black Desert has been built from the ground up and provides optimised UI for fluid and responsive console gameplay as well as 4K Ultra HDR support for the Xbox One X.

The world of Black Desert is available now for Xbox One players to explore.
