Felicity Jones in talks to star opposite Tom Hanks in Inferno

Actress Felicity Jones is in talks to join Tom Hanks in the adaptation of the Dan Brown novel Inferno. According to Deadline the actress will star in the third adaptation of the Dan Brown book series, the first two being The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.

Inferno follows Harvard symbologist Professor Langdon (Hanks) as he awakens in an Italian hospital with amnesia. He teams up with Sienna Brooks, (who Jones will play) a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante’s Inferno.

Felicity Jones has recently been seen in The Theory of Everything and her role has received some Oscar buzz.

Inferno will be directed by Ron Howard and is set for release in 2016.
