Feudal Japan and rural America await in the PS Plus line up for November 2019

October 31, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Playstation Plus subscribers have a fight on their hands this November as the monthly free games take them to the brutal lands of feudal Japan in Nioh and the isolated rural America in the psychological horror, Outlast 2.  Both titles will be available to subscribers on 5th November.

Nioh takes players to the bloodied Sengoku period where they must demonstrate perseverance and master their weapons in a fight against some of ancient Japan’s fiercest demons.  Taking the role of an embattled outsider, players will need to hone their skills and upgrade their weapons in order to fight through hordes of yokai and liberate a guardian spirit from the evil of a power-hungry sorcerer.

Players will be able to wield swords, spears, shuriken, bows and rifles as well as make use of powerful elemental magic as they explore towns, caves and harbours overrun by yokai.

Outlast 2 is a tense psychological horror where players will need to fight for survival and rescue their wife from a deranged cult in an isolated rural community.  Following a helicopter crash, players will head to the rundown town of Temple Gate and fight its insane inhabitants.  As well as the deanged cult there are other, more disturbing, secrets lurking beneath the town.

Nioh and Outlast 2 will be available to download from PlayStation Store between November 5 and December 3.  Don’t forget, there are still a few more days to get Octobers PS+ titles, The Last of Us Remastered and MLB: The Show 19.
