FIFA 15 continues to top UK video game chart

November 5, 2014 by Tom Powter

FIFA 15 continues to sit pretty at the top of the UK video games chart.

The massive football franchise has held the top spot for six consecutive weeks since its release. Impressively, the game has seen off competition from other new, big name games – most notably forcing Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive into a second place position.

Other new titles to enter the Top 40 include WWE 2K15 at number 5 (though the next gen version has yet to release) and Lords of the Fallen at number 11.

Here’s the top 20 chart, courtesy of Videogamer.com:

1. FIFA 15
2. SUNSET OVERDRIVE
3. MINECRAFT: PLAYSTATION EDITION
4. THE EVIL WITHIN
5. WWE 2K15
6. DESTINY
7. FORZA HORIZON 2
8. MIDDLE EARTH: SHADOW OF MORDOR
9. SKYLANDERS TRAP TEAM
10. MINECRAFT: XBOX EDITION
11. LORDS OF THE FALLEN
12. DISNEY INFINITY 2.0
13. ALIEN: ISOLATION
14. WATCH DOGS
15. BORDERLANDS: THE PRE-SEQUEL!
16. DRIVECLUB
17. SUPER SMASH BROS.
18. PLANTS VS ZOMBIES: GARDEN WARFARE
19. JUST DANCE 2015
20. LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES

While FIFA 15 continues to enjoy an extended stay at the top, its reign will soon come to an end as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare rolls out.
