Finn Wolfhard teases Stranger Things season 3 tone

June 14, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Finn Wolfhard, one of the stars of Stranger Things, has teased the tone for the upcoming third season.

Stranger Things is certainly one of the most beloved TV shows around, thanks in no small part to its nostalgic lense and mixing so many different genres.

But what can fans expect from season three? Will it be more like season one or season two? Well, star Finn Wolfhard has told Pilot TV magazine that it will actually be a mix of both:

“The first season was more about the adventure aspect and kind of fun, the second season was more about the horror aspect. Season Three is everything, like the fun of season one and the horror of Season Two and [creators] the Duffers have got better at it, at writing it. And we’ve become better actors.”

The third season of Stranger Things premieres on July 4th and sees the return of cast members Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink and Priah Ferguson, while new additions include Francesca Reale, Maya Hawke, Cary Elwes and Jake Busey.
