First episode of Act 1 of The Walking Dead: Last Mile is now available exclusively on Facebook Gaming

August 24, 2022 by Andrew Newton

The first episode of Act One of Skybound Entertainment and Genvid Entertainment’s The Walking Dead: Last Mile is now available exclusively on Facebook Gaming.  This new episode continues the four month run of new story content that updates daily with all key decisions decided by fan feedback.  The launch trailer can be seen by clicking the link below, although you have to be logged in to Facebook to see it.

After the death of a key member in the Village faction at the end of the story’s prologue, added with the incoming of a harsh winter, things don’t look too good for the survivors of Prosper Landing, Alaska.  This new act will see if those factions will be able to come together for the greater good or will tensions reach boiling point and then spill over.  Whatever happens it will be up to the actions and decisions of fans.

“The Walking Dead: Last Mile is a completely immersive and audience driven experience for TWD,” said Shawn Kittelsen, VP of Creative Development at Skybound Entertainment. “In TWD:LM, fans will make life-or-death choices together as a community for the first time. The results, such as the death of a main character during the prologue, will not only shape the lives of the inhabitants of Prosper Landing as new acts unfold, but determine the fate of their future in the franchise.”

Throughout the four months of The Walking Dead: Last Mile there will be regular livestreams hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown (The Talking Dead) and Felicia Day (Supernatural) that highlight the biggest moments that propel the storyline forward.  Friday 26th August will see Felicia Day play The Walking Dead: Last Mile on livestream with a mystery guest.

“Thanks to the hundreds of thousands of fans who participated in the Prologue, we’ve made significant improvements to the look and feel of the product,” said Jacob Navok, CEO of Genvid Entertainment. “Each day that passes and we see the story changing, we see how the audience has been instrumental in not just shaping the TWD:LM world and narrative, they’ve also helped shape the product.”

Play The Walking Dead: Last Mile now on Facebook Gaming and join in the excitement of helping create some canon content for The Walking Dead universe.
