First images from Jordan Peele’s Us, trailer confirmed for Christmas Day

December 20, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Entertainment Weekly has debuted the first images from Jordan Peele’s upcoming thriller Us featuring Lupita Nyong’o and four mysterious figures, while Universal Pictures has also released a very brief teaser for the film, which reveals that the first trailer will be with us on Christmas Day; take a look here…

A mother (Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o from Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 12 Years a Slave) and a father (Winston Duke from Black Panther) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Emmy winner Elizabeth Moss from TV series The Handmaid’s Tale). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.

Us is set for release on March 15th 2019 and sees Jordan Peele (Get Out) directing a cast that includes Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther), Elizabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Winston Duke (Black Panther), Tim Heidecker (Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down), Anna Diop (24: Legacy), Shahadi Wright Joseph (The Lion King), Evan Alex (Kidding), Cali Sheldon (Friends), Noelle Sheldon (Friends) and newcomer Madison Curry.

Us is set for release on March 15th 2019.
