First set photos from Bond 25 feature a masked villain

April 2, 2019 by Gary Collinson

While the main bulk of production on the as-yet-untitled Bond 25 doesn’t get underway until later in April, director Cary Jojo Fukunaga and crew have been over in Norway this week to shoot a sequence for Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007.

Sure enough, some set photos have arrived online featuring what was described as a chase sequence between a mysterious masked villain and a young girl, with the girl falling under the ice. There’s been a lot of talk that the sequence could be a flashback featuring a young Madeleine Swann, although that is unconfirmed and remains speculation at the moment.

Bond 25 is set for release on April 8th 2020 and sees Daniel Craig back as James Bond alongside Ben Whishaw as Q, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann. Further casting is yet to be confirmed, although Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody) and Billy Magnussen (Maniac) have both been linked to roles.
