Ahead of the film’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, Sony Pictures Classic has shared a first teaser trailer for Nuremberg, writer-director James Vanderbilt’s (Truth) upcoming drama based upon the Nuremberg trials in the wake of World War II.
The teaser introduces Russell Crowe as Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring, the most senior of the 22 members of Nazi Germany leadership to stand trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity by an International Military Tribunal. Check out the teaser trailer below…
The Allies, led by the unyielding chief prosecutor, Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), have the task of ensuring the Nazi regime answers for the unveiled horrors of the Holocaust while a US Army psychiatrist (Rami Malek) is locked in a dramatic psychological duel with former Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe).
The cast includes Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Michael Shannon, Leo Woodall, Richard E. Grant, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Lydia Peckham, and Wrenn Schmidt.
