After dropping a brief teaser yesterday, Entertainment One has now released the first trailer for the upcoming horror prequel Insidious: Chapter 3, which we’ve got for you below after the official synopsis…
“This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.“
Insidious: Chapter 3 is directed by Leigh Whannell, who returns to the cast alongside Lin Shaye and Angus Sampson, while new addition Stefanie Scott (Flipped) is joined by Dermot Mulroney (August: Osage County), Hayley Kiyoko (The Fosters) and Ele Keats (Frankie and Johnny).
Insidious: Chapter 3 is set for release on May 29th, 2015.
