Fishing: Barents Sea – Complete Edition coming to consoles this December

November 3, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Console gamers who love to fish will be able to set sail to the high seas this December with Fishing: Barents Sea – Complete Edition.  Thanks to Astragon Entertainment and Misc Games, this popular fishing simulator will arrive on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo switch on 10th December.

With Fishing: Barents Sea – Complete Edition travel to the icy waters of Northern Norway to take their very own fishing boat across an extensive and realistic map, set around around the well known harbour of Hammerfest, in search of prosperous fishing waters.

Players will have access to more than 12 boats and ships with various characteristics, and to ensure a successful haul, players will need to stock up with all manner of fishing equipment, including baits, lines and much more functional equipment.  For those who are tired of casting their line and nets for fish there are also two vessels specifically for a bit of crab fishing and hunting down those king crabs.

The Complete Edition will challenge fishermen with real weather conditions that have been experienced off the coast of Hammerfest over the past 20 years and includes the likes of fog, wind, rain, snow and sunshine.  But as well as days at sea, both fair weather and foul, players will also be able to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Northern lights.
