Trailer for Jennifer Esposito-directed mob drama Fresh Kills

May 8, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Quiver Distribution has released a poster and trailer for Fresh Kills, the crime drama from actress-turned-writer-director Jennifer Esposito (Summer of Sam, The Boys), which tells the story of the women of the Larusso mafia family in 1990s Staten Island, where fear, violence, and rage dictate who they are and who they become.

Featuring in the cast of Fresh Kills are Jennifer Esposito, Emily Bader, Odessa A’zion, Domenick Lombardozzi, Annabella Sciorra, Nicolas Cirillo, and David Iacono. Watch the trailer below…

Fresh Kills brings late 1980s Staten Island to vivid life through the lens of Rose Larusso (Bader), an inquisitive young girl who discovers her father (Lombardozzi) is an emerging mafia kingpin. Rose’s growing desire to break free from the path set before her soon threatens her existence and alienates her from her closest allies: her mother Francine (Esposito), her sister Connie (A’zion), and her aunt Christine (Sciorra).

Fresh Kills arrives in cinemas on June 14th.
