With a month left until the return of the Planet Express crew, Hulu has released the full trailer for the new season of Futurama in its latest revival. The season, which is the first of two Hulu ordered, will run for 10 episodes and is set to premiere Monday, July 24th. Watch the trailer below…
New viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while long-time fans will recognize payoffs to decades-long mysteries – including developments in the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the mysterious contents of Nibbler’s litter box, the secret history of evil Robot Santa, and the whereabouts of Kif and Amy’s tadpoles. Meanwhile there’s a whole new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture, and streaming TV.
Futurama will see the return of original voice stars Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman. Groening and co-creator David X. Cohen will executive produce alongside Ken Keeler and Claudia Katz.
Futurama will premiere on July 24th.
