Gerard Butler leads the fight for survival in Greenland 2: Migration trailer

December 17, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

With tickets now on sale for Greenland 2: Migration ahead of its release this January, Lionsgate has shared a new trailer for the disaster thriller sequel.

The film sees stars Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin reuniting with director Ric Roman Waugh as they return as John and Allison Garrity, and follows the couple as they leave the safety of their bunker, along with their son, and travel the decimated planet in search of a new home.

Joining Butler and Baccarin in the cast are Roman Griffin Davis, Amber Rose Revah, Sophie Thompson, Trond Fausa Aurvåg, and William Abadie.

In the aftermath of a comet strike that decimated most of the earth, GREENLAND 2: MIGRATION follows the Garrity family (Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, and Roman Griffin Davis) as they’re forced to leave the safety of their bunker in Greenland to traverse a shattered world in search of a new home.

Greenland 2: Migration arrives in cinemas on January 9th.
