Get a fresh look at James Gunn’s Superman with first TV spot

January 26, 2025 by Matt Rodgers

With the first trailer having racked up an astonishing 250 million views in its first 24 hours, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios have kept fans waiting before dropping more of James Gunn’s Superman reboot…until now.

Superman stars David Corenswet (Twisters) in the iconic dual roles of Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan (I’m Your Woman) as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult (Nosferatu) as Lex Luthor. The blockbuster also stars Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Sara Sampaio, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Neva Howell, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, and Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe. Check out the first TV spot below…

Superman tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice, and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.
