The fight has begun as a new trailer for Mortal Kombat II has been released with the announcement that tickets are now on sale in theaters.
The new trailer focuses on the Mortal Kombat tournament, showcasing many realms and set pieces for the combatants as Karl Urban joins the franchise as Johnny Cage, a washed up Hollywood action hero and stuntman who is chosen to participate in Mortal Kombat to save the world. Among the scenery is many fighting moves game players will recognize alongside new characters joining the fight on both sides, all set to the franchise’s iconic theme song. Watch the trailer below…
