Gex Trilogy coming to PC and consoles this June

May 9, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Limited Run Games has revealed that Gex Trilogy will be launching digitally on 16th June on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. They’ve also revealed three different physical editions that will arrive later on in 2025. A new trailer can be seen below showcasing the features that are arriving with this trilogy…

Gex is a wise-cracking, TV loving gecko who jumps into action whenever the megalomaniac Emperor Rez makes an attempt to dominate the world of television, also known as “The Media Dimension”.

The Gex Trilogy brings lots of quality of life improvements to Gex’ three adventures, including Rewind and a Save Anywhere features (which we could have done with back in the day), Gex: Enter the Gecko and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko will support native 16:9 widescreen and has been rebuilt with 360 degree analogue control.

There will be three physical editions available, these are:

The Standard Edition will include the game (on disc or cartridge), a Steam Key for the PC version, and a booklet.

The Classic Edition will include the game, a Steam Key for PC, a booklet, a sleek Steelbook, 12″x16″ double-sided poster with art by Alex TJ Campbell, a soundtrack selection CD and a gorgeous retro-style box.

Finally, the Tail Time Edition includes all the above items (apart from the Soundtrack Selection CD), the full soundtrack on CD, a 7″ Gex Statue, Gex Trading Cards, a Remote Pin, and a 36″ inflatable Gex doll.  All of this will be packed neatly inside a Collector’s Box with artwork by Yoshitaka Amano.

Pre-orders will be available for Gex Trilogy via the Limited Run Games website from 9th May – 6th July. Look out for the digital edition arriving on 16th June.
