It’s been less than two days since the incredibly sad passing of comedy great Harold Ramis, but it seems as if this short amount of time has become a catalyst for the production of the long-rumoured Ghostbusters III.
Over at The Hollywood Reporter, it has been revealed that the project hasn’t been totally derailed. Instead the script from Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky is being tweaked, with director Ivan Reitman scheduled to meet the bosses over at Sony to see how the film can move forward without one of its original stars.
Raimi’s passing was shocking and untimely, and he will certainly be remembered as one of the greats. Read Luke Owen’s tribute to the man here.
