The Ghoul’s Saloon is a grimy wasteland saloon and junk stall where players will cater to the requests of customers with eccentric tastes, in other words, ghouls. Players will have to craft eerie dishes and monstrous cocktails from strange finds and serve these to their patrons, set prices, haggle, keep the place clean, juggle power and supplies and ensure you get the right kind of clientele the following day.
Whatever players do during the day will also determine what stalks around after dark, and players will need to set traps, place barricades, and load up their weapons in readiness for a short, focused survival phase against prowling factions. Make sure to protect the saloon and shop, staff, and stock so that it can open the following day.
Make sure bodies don’t stink up the saloon, use them to fuel the business by processing the corpses into slime and salvageable parts, and then use these to create sellable goods, such as pickled knuckles to phosphorescent cordials. Keep the saloon clean and tidy by mopping floors and wiping counters to attract better patrons and better prices.
