Fans of the hit anime franchise Girls und Panzer will be pleased to hear it has returned to World of Tanks in a brand-new event. This new event, running until 3rd April, places the spotlight on one of the most prestigious schools of Sensha-Dō, St. Gloriana Girls’ College, and brings new tanks, elite crews and themed customisations. Meet these girls and their tanks in the new trailer below…
Starting today, World of Tanks commanders will have the opportunity to command new crew members from St. Gloriana Girls’ College and listen to the authentic voiceovers performed by the original Japanese cast members. Players will also be able to activate dynamic team conversations in battle by assigning at least three voiced crew members from the Churchill St. Gloriana crew to any British vehicle.
Two brand-new Premium Tanks are also available for those wanting that authentic St. Gloriana Girls’ College feel, these are the Tier VI Premium Churchill St. Gloriana and Tier VII Premium Centurion St. Gloriana.
Alongside the girls from St. Gloriana, the three legendary teams from Oarai Girls’ High School, Kuromorimine Girls’ High School and Jatkosota High School make a return to the battlefield. These will see the return of fan-favourite tanks, including the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H Ankou, BT-42 Jatkosota HS and Tiger II Kuromorimine.
Players will also have access to an expanded set of 2D customisation items, such as inscriptions, emblems and decals that represent the different schools and teams. There are also collections of chibi-style and pin-up decals of the leaders of each academy.
During the event, players will be able to complete special missions and earn Girls und Panzer tokens, and use them for exclusive customisation items and voiced commanders in the Girls und Panzer Token Store.
