Go down with the clown in terrifying final trailer for IT: Welcome to Derry

October 14, 2025 by Matt Rodgers

“All of the tunnels are underground, where none of the children will ever be found”.

You think that’s dark? Wait until you feast your eyes, or cover them, at the final red band trailer that HBO has dropped for their big-budget prequel series IT: Welcome to Derry.

Giving us a better glimpse at Bill Skarsgård returning to the role of Pennywise, IT: Welcome to Derry fills out the titular town with an ensemble cast that includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Madeleine Stowe, Stephen Rider, Alixandra Fuchs, Kimberly Guerrero, Dorian Grey, Thomas Mitchell, BJ Harrison, Peter Outerbridge, Shane Marriott, Chad Rook, Joshua Odjick, Rudy Mancuso, and Morningstar Angeline. Check out the trailer below…

“It: Welcome to Derry is a prequel series that explores the origins of Pennywise and the cyclical evil in Derry, Maine, set in the 1960s. It expands on the mythology of Stephen King’s novel by focusing on the events of an earlier haunting, including historical tragedies like the burning of the Black Spot nightclub. The show delves into the terrifying history of the town and the creature that has preyed on it for centuries.”
