Goosebumps: Dead of Night coming to PC and consoles this summer

June 1, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Sony Pictures, developer Cosmic Forces and leading children’s book publisher Scholastic have revealed their spooky first-person survival horror game Goosebumps: Dead of Night.  The game is scheduled to release this summer on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.  A new trailer for the upcoming game can be seen below….

Inspired by the film series and R.L. Stine’s best-selling books, Goosebumps: Dead of Night sees players hunt down pages from classic Goosebumps tales that have been stolen by Slappy the Dummy.  Players will be able to explore infamous Goosebumps locations in the search for clues and also test their skills by solving Slappy’s devious puzzles but will always need to remain vigilant and avoid getting caught by terrifying Goosebump monsters, including the Graveyard Ghoul, Lawn Gnomes, Annihilator 3000, Murder the Clown and the Werewolf of Fever Swamp.

Goosebumps: Dead of Night is a reimagining of  the spooky stealth gameplay of the hit mobile VR game Goosebumps: Night of Scares and will feature enhanced HD Graphics, five new monsters with a greatly improved AI, an expanded Stine House with more puzzles plus the addition of new chapters such as Dr. Brewer’s twisted Conservatory and the menacing Tesla Tower.  The Nintendo Switch edition will also feature HD Rumble functionality, touchscreen support and gyroscopic controls.

Look out for Goosebumps: Dead of Night coming to PC and consoles this summer.
