Developer and publisher IllFonic has revealed a new trailer showcasing the first in-game map, “Haddonfield Heights,” for their upcoming Halloween asymmetric stealth horror game. This new trailer (see below) takes viewers around the eerily quiet neighbourhood that players will die over when the game releases on PC and consoles in September 2026.

This first map is nestled beneath the iconic Haddonfield water tower, deep in the heart of the town. Players will fight it out against Michael Myers (and die) or as Michael, across a maze of front gardens, winding streets and the nooks and crannies that suburbia brings. Although pleasant by day, the white picket fences and pristine lawns hide complete terror by night.

In this tribute to John Carpenter’s classic 1978 film, players will take the role of either a desperate Civilian, or the seemingly invincible Michael Myers. As the Civilian, players will guide the townsfolk to safe locations and find a phone that they can use to call the police. As they rush around, Civilians can find weapons and supplies that they can use to slow the infamous maniac down. As Myers, players will roam through the shadows and use eerie abilities, such as Shape Jump, to travel through the neighbourhood unseen and strike without warning.

Halloween will feature single and multiplayer modes, allowing players to survive or slay on their own, with their friends or alongside other players around the world.
Players will be able to go around Haddonfield on 8th September on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
