Halloween Ends image sees Michael Myers getting the upper hand in his final battle with Laurie Strode

September 7, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

It’s clear from all that we’ve seen so far that Halloween Ends is going to be quite the ordeal for original scream-queen Laurie Strode, with the latest image released by Universal underlining the point by showing Jamie Lee Curtis’ one-time babysitter on the end of a familiar weapon wielded by her long-time nemesis Michael Myers. Unveiled as part of USA Today’s Fall Movie Preview, you can check out the image below…

Set four years after the events of the really-rather-rubbish Halloween Kills, this finds Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) living a more positive life with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), but when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it triggers a cascade of violence and terror that will force the original scream queen to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

Halloween Ends is once again directed by Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills‘ David Gordon Green from a screenplay by Green, Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier. Featuring in the cast are Jamie Lee Curtis as the iconic Laurie Strode, Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson, James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle as The Shape, Rohan Campbell as Corey Cunningham, Kyle Richard as Lindsey Wallace, Michael O’Leary as Dr. Mathis and Omar Dorsey as Sheriff Barker.

Halloween Ends arrives in cinemas and streams on Peacock from October 14th, 2022.
